EXPERIMENT 001 brings together two artistic practices for an afternoon of creativity, connection and exploration.

Featuring Where Stillness Grows by LinaMar and FUNGUS by Mujurono, this collaborative experience explores ideas of identity, belonging, transformation and growth through art and hands-on making.

Inspired by the artists' contrasting approaches, participants are invited to experiment with different creative processes, explore their own ideas and connect with others in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

The afternoon brings together guided drawing, exhibition exploration, painting and planting. You'll create your own hand-painted pot, plant a baby aloe vera and take both home as a reminder of the experience.

No previous art or gardening experience is needed. Just bring your curiosity and an open mind. All materials are provided.

THE AFTERNOON

01 — PAINT: CREATE YOUR OWN PIECE

Guided by LinaMar, begin by exploring colours, shapes and fluid forms inspired by Where Stillness Grows. Experiment with different ideas and transform your own terracotta pot into a personal piece of art.

Make it expressive, playful or completely your own. Once finished, your pot will be set aside to dry while you enjoy the rest of the afternoon.

02 — CONNECT: EXPLORE THE EXHIBITION

Take a moment to explore Where Stillness Grows and FUNGUS, discover the artists' stories, ideas and creative processes, and see how their different practices connect.

Enjoy some snacks, try the signature herbal teas and take the opportunity to mingle, share ideas and connect with other participants.

03 — DRAW: EXPLORE YOUR CREATIVITY

Join Mujurono for Tea & Draw, a relaxed and playful creative warm-up.

Through guided group drawing exercises, experiment with lines, shapes and visual ideas. This is an invitation to let go of expectations, follow your curiosity and enjoy the process of making.

No drawing skills required. Just a willingness to explore.

04 — PLANT: NURTURE SOMETHING NEW

With your painted pot ready, it's time to bring something to life. Plant your own baby aloe vera and learn a few simple tips about caring for your new plant. Take a little piece of the afternoon home and give it space to grow.

05 — TAKE IT HOME: KEEP GROWING

Leave with your hand-painted pot, your baby aloe vera and a little inspiration to keep creating.

A reminder that growth takes time, creativity has no fixed direction and small things can become something meaningful.

A LITTLE SOMETHING TO SIP

Alongside the creative activities, enjoy two signature herbal tea blends inspired by the artists' practices and the themes of the afternoon.

STILLNESS: A calming herbal blend (cinnamon, hibiscus and chamomile) inspired by slowing down, finding balance and making space for yourself. 

SPREAD: A fresh, uplifting herbal blend (cinnamon, hibiscus and black tea) inspired by movement, connection and the joy of spreading ideas. 

Feel free to bring your favourite cup. Paper cups will also be available.
